Post-Workout Smoothie Bowl

Happy Saturday! I indulged a bit too much last night, so I woke up to start fresh with a workout and energizing smoothie bowl. I’ve read some other blogs that use sweet potato in smoothies, which at first, I thought was odd, but it turned out DELICIOUS. Lately, I’ve been making this recipe as a drinkable smoothie, but since I was running low on almond milk, I made a thicker version for a smoothie bowl instead. Still packed with nutrients and healthy fuel for your body. Here ya go!

1/4 cup sweet potato, cooked, refrigerated (may freeze if preferred)

1/4 cup oats

1/2 banana, peeled

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk(or milk of choice–use 1 cup for drinkable consistency)

1tsp ground cinnamon

1tsp ground turmeric

1 Tbsp natural peanut butter

Toppings:

1tsp pure maple syrup

Kind granola-blueberry vanilla flavor for topping(use whatever you prefer)
Blend smoothie ingredients then pour into a bowl. Drizzle maple syrup and sprinkle granola on top. Enjoy with a spoon! 😋 hope you have a great Saturday!
